Terms of Use

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by Kucsma Norbert (WatchNGo), Hungary. Contact: support@watchngoapp.com.

2. What WatchNGo is

WatchNGo helps you discover, organize, and track movies, TV series, seasons, episodes, and actors, and offers community features such as profiles, follows, comments, and reactions.

WatchNGo does not host, sell, or stream movies or television series, and it provides no video playback. Availability, metadata, images, and ratings are supplied by third parties and may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or changed without notice.

3. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials and device secure. Tell us promptly at support@watchngoapp.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• post content that is unlawful, infringing, threatening, harassing, hateful, deceptive, or sexually explicit, or that endangers others;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
• upload malware, or attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its providers;
• scrape or harvest data by automated means except as expressly allowed, or use the Service to build a competing dataset;
• reverse engineer the software, except to the extent mandatory law allows.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create, such as comments, replies, lists, notes, ratings, and images you upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service, including moderation and backups.

This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained as described in the Privacy Policy or required by law, and for content other users have already re-shared within the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to what you post.

6. Community moderation

You can report objectionable content and block other users in the app. We may review reported content and may remove or restrict content, limit its visibility, or suspend or terminate accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms or endanger the community. Where practical and lawful we will give notice and a way to contact support about the decision.

WatchNGo has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

7. Third-party data and attribution

The Service uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Streaming availability is provided by JustWatch through TMDB. Selected ratings come from OMDb and GIF results from GIPHY. Your use of third-party content and links is also subject to those providers’ terms.

8. Intellectual property

The WatchNGo name, logo, app, website, and their original design and software are protected by intellectual property law and remain ours or our licensors’. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Availability, disclaimers, and liability

We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or the accuracy of third-party data. To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” and we exclude implied warranties.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your mandatory statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, for loss of data caused by factors outside our reasonable control, or for loss arising from third-party content or services.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in the app under Settings → Account. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including the content licence for retained copies, intellectual property, disclaimers, and governing law — continue to apply.

11. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may change the Service and these Terms. We will post material changes here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. If you continue to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules and remedies available to you where you live. The courts of Hungary have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
